Bill earned an A.B. degree from Princeton University in 1963 and an M.B.A. degree from Harvard University in 1966. Bill served as president of Work/Family Directions, Inc., the nation’s leading provider of corporate work-life services, from 1992 to 1999. Earlier in his career, he was president of Aldrich Eastman and Waltch, a real estate investment firm, and vice president and treasurer of Digital Equipment Corporation. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves from 1960 to 1963.
Bill and his wife, Tina, have resided in New London since 2001 where he has been active in community affairs. He served as Chair of the Board of New London Hospital for ten years, Trustee of Colby-Sawyer College for six years, Trustee of the Ausbon Sargent Land Preservation Trust for six years, and moderator of New London’s First Baptist Church for four years. He is currently Chair of the New London Planning Board and a Director of the Chapin Senior Center in New London.
Bill joined Partners for Community Wellness (formerly known as the Assembly of Overseers) in 2004.
Bill and Tina have four daughters and seven grandchildren.
